Welcome Back!
Welcome Back MacArthur Family!!! As the new Principal of MacArthur Middle School, it has been my sincere pleasure and honor to become part of this great school community. MacArthur enjoys a rich history of academic and cultural excellence that is the result of a collegial partnership between the school staff and parents who provide a diversity of experiences for the students. Before coming to MacArthur, my professional career has been rich with experience and diversity. I held the positions of Teacher, Summer School Principal, Assistant Principal, and Athletic Director. I held these positions in both Chicago Public Schools as well as two Suburban ones. I am very excited to be a part of the MacArthur family and to closely work with everyone to make our school even better. Along with myself, we have several new additions to our staff. Mrs. Toia Jones is our new Assistant Principal. She served as Dean of Students at Jane Adaams Middle School in Bolingbrook. Ms. Kozij and Ms. Cassidy joined our 6th Grade team. Ms. Kattezham, Ms. Varanas, Ms. O'Malley are new Langauge Arts teachers. Ms. O'Meara, Ms. Montoya, and Mr. Fore our new Math and Science teachers. Ms. Brown is our latest addition to our library. Mr. Richards is our new Head Cook. Ms. Lipscomb is our new Health Aide. Last but not least, Mr. Garcia is our new Evening Custodian. We are all very excited to be here at MacArthur. We are going to have a GREAT year!!!! Hope to see you there.
