Frequently Asked Library Questions

How many items may I check out of the library and how long may I keep them?

- Kindergarten: 1 item, 1 week, may renew 3 times
- 1st Grade - 2nd Grade: 2 items, 1 week, may renew 3 times
- 3rd Grade - 5th Grade: 3 items, 1 week, may renew 3 times
- 6th Grade - 8th Grade: 4 items, 2 weeks, may renew 3 times

May I check out magazines and/or recorded books (books on tape or CD)?
Students in Grades 1 - 8 may check out 1 magazine and/or 1 recorded book at a time.

What happens if I have overdue library materials?
A late fee of 5¢ per day is charged for overdue books

What happens if a book or other library item is lost or damaged?

Lost or damaged library materials must be replaced. You will be issued a bill for the lost or damaged item.

Who do I contact if I have a question about library materials or need information for a class project?
