If no homework is assigned, try out the extra credit! It changes weekly; remember to write a paragraph about why you solved it and how you solved it. If a class assignment is not completed during class time, then it is due the following day (needs to be completed as homework).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

Students should always be prepared for class; a notebook and pencil are necessary to be successful in Math Lab. Students are in Math Lab for 12 weeks, broken into two sections of 6 weeks each. Most of our work will be hands-on group work, and very little homework will be assigned. Math Lab grades are weighted as below: Group work (projects): 30% of grade Class participation: 20% of grade In class assignment: 20% of grade Written summary/quiz: 15% of grade Warm ups: 15% of grade
