CLASSROOM RULES

My classroom expectations for each class are aligned with both the district and school rules.

As a school, we follow the three B's:

-Be safe- It is important to always practice safe behavior.  Keep all hands and feet away from others and follow directions.

-Be there and ready- Always come on time and prepared for class. Have all required materials and begin the bell work located on the front board as soon as you enter the classroom. The expectation is the EVERYONE has started working when the bell rings.

-Be respectful- Respect yourself, others, and property.  Listen to others when they are talking, do not talk back to school staff, and do not touch or take someone's personal items without permission.

Consequences- I will attempt to deal with the problems within the classroom first. This will be done by talking with the student individually to see if the situation can be rectified.  If the behavior continues, we will follow the district discipline policy which will result in parent contact, after school detention, office referrals, etc.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

We will be starting Penny Wars the first week of February.  All donations will go to the Lukemia/Lymphoma Society. Pennies will count for 1 point and dollars will count as 100 points towards your child's homeroom.  Silver pieces, nickels, dimes and quarters, will take away from other homerooms. The homeroom with the most points will win a prize. Let's have fun helping others!
