HOMEWORK POLICY:

CLASSROOM HOMEWORK POLICY: Students will have about one hour worth of homework every night per sixth grade requirements. Included in that hour should be 30 minutes of reading. Homework varies from day to day. Please check your child's assignment notebook daily. Also, help to see that your child has a quiet area in your home to complete their homework and read each night. |

CLASSROOM POLICY: All students will be expected to adhere to the District87 student handbook rules and regulations. Students must be in compliance in school and on all school property at all times. In addition, students in my classroom will practice displaying the characteristics of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY and SAFETY. The District87 rules of conduct are as follows: 1. Follow directions when given 2. Stay on task; work quietly (respectfully) 3. Keep hands, feet and objects away from others 4. Come prepared to class/school 5. Respect yourself and others, and everyone's property |

8th Grade Gradduation is May 31st
Olympic/Field Day is May 25th: Student of Month Assembly and open time capsule as well
Last day of school is June 1st (1 hour day)
