HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
My Language Arts classes are not designed to give a lot of homework. Students will have a weekly spelling assignment on Mondays and a reading and spelling test on Fridays. Other homework will be given as needed for reinforcement for work done in class.
*Every day when students come into class, they will be doing two ISAT vocabulary words. They will be responsible for knowing these words throughout the year and will be quizzed weekly on them. A packet was sent home with these words and their definitions for students to study. Please feel free to quiz your student on these words.

Please encourage your student to continue reading at home! Super Readers is an optional assignment that students can fill out nightly. Once they reach 200 minutes they get a sticker on the chart and a homework pass. KEEP READING!
