HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS Most days there is time given in class to start or finish homework. No more than 1 hour should ever be spent on homework. Please contact me if your child is spending more than 1 hour on homework! I ask each student to read 30 minutes each night. They must write a summary and record the pages read in their log. This log is collected each Monday

READ EVERY NIGHT!  I can not stress enough the importance of daily reading. In order for your child to grow and progress as well as maintain success at their grade level they must read daily. They must read aloud and silently. You can ask questions about what they are reading. They should re-read passages to ensure understanding.   Practice make perfect!
