CLASS INFORMATION

WEEK OF February 6, 2011 Grades 4-5 Copy Paste pictures into word documents Grade 3 Grade 3 is doing biography cards. We will always use SAVE AS to save our work. We are doing Dr. Yves Jean.
Grade 2 Grade 2 will work on spelling sentences. One should be a regular sentence and one a question. We will also do one exclamatory sentence. When we finish, we will do Math Facts in a Flash. Grade 1 Students will work on a math sentence. KINDERGARTEN We can find stamps or draw words with blends like bl. We will use the ABC tool to write some words.

CLASSROOM HOMEWORK POLICY Students don't always have computers at home, so it is unfair to assign computer keyboarding homework. Computer vocabulary worksheets or Internet safety worksheets may go home if not completed in class. |

TYPE MESSAGE(S) FOR PARENTS Know who your child is sending e-mail and instant messages to. Talk to them about being safe on the internet. FYI - Reinforce good typing at home with encouraging two handed typing. The more students use only one finger, the more difficult it is to learn proper typing. Talk with your child about how you are using computers in your job and in your home.
