Third Grade: The Reading Street story for the week is "Story of the Statue of Liberty". The vocabulary words for this story are: crown, liberty, models, symbol. tablet, tprch,unforgettable, unveiled. The Avenues story is "Lost". The vocabulary words for the story are gully, canyon, lost, traks, search, found, map.
Fourth Grade: The Reading Street story this week is "Amelia and Eleanor Take a Ride". The vocabulary words are aviator, brisk, cockpit, daring, elegant, outswpoken, solo. The Avenues story is "A Quarter's Worth of Fame". The new vocabulary words are contest, design, talent, honor, sketch.
Fifth Grade: The Avenues story this week is " Ben Franklin's Experiment", for which the vocabulary words are:lightning, exhibit, discover, prove, accompplish, invent, experiment.
