Kindergarten will read a non fiction story called "Animal Homes" about a animal  habitats.

 

 

 

Math - Compare (more or less)

 

 

Write about your favorite animal and habitat.

 

 

Math: Use a minus sign.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kindergarten will  discuss Vocabulary for 

predators

prey

shields

bark

colony

shelter

 

 

Math Use an equal sign

Kindergarten will practice graduation songs.

 We will re-read familiar fiction story "Animal Homes"

*We will practice drawing conclusions

 

 

 

 

Math:  Using pictures to subtract. 

 

 

NO WEEKLY TEST - 

We will continue report card testing - (practice address, phone number, and tying shoes).

Things you can do at home to enhance learning:

Check your child's folder and discuss all completed work with them.

Finish up any incomplete work that is in folder.

Visit local library, museums, zoo or parks.

Use magazines/newspapers to look for letters/words of the week.

Count items around house and pattern or graph them - (socks, utensils, legos....)

Use white index cards to create alphabet/sight word flash cards.
