IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
|
You can help your child succeed in school. Set aside time and an area for your child to complete their work. In addition to any homework, it is important to have your child read each night. Please check your child's backpack and home folder everyday. Look at the work your child brought home and talk to your child about the story of the week to you. Have your child review the reading vocabulary words and read or talk about the story of the week to you. Study the weekly spelling words everyday. Give a practice test the day before the test to see what words are hard for them to spell. Review these words together. Look for notes and information from the teacher and the school. You can always call or write a note to your child's teacher if you have a concern or there is something the teacher should know about. Reminder that there is no school on May 28th Memorial Day. The last day of school is June 1st; 8:50 - 9:50, only 1 hour. |
