Welcome to the District 87 Health Services Department!
We recognize that optimal health is essential for proper development and learning. Therefore the mission of our department, consistent with the District's mission, is to enable children and staff to reach and/or maintain their level of optimal health and wellness. This will be accomplished through the provision of health services, health education, and striving for a healthy environment by our nurses.
They care for children who become ill or injured at school. The ill or injured student is referred to the health office. observed and given first aid if necessary. If the child is too ill to remain in school, the parent is notified. Please ensure your emergency information is current.
